2013 Ultimate Ascent 

The robot had to collect Frisbee’s and shoot them into goals at varying heights. It also had to be able to climb their alliance’s pyramid.

2014: Aerial Assist 

The robot had to pick up a ball and throw it into various scoring areas.

2015: Recycle Rush

The robot had to stack totes on-top of a scoring panel. On-top of the totes, it had to stack a recycle bin and be able to put pool noodles (“Litter”) inside the recycle bin.

2016: Stronghold 

Two alliances with 3 robots to each must breach their opponents’ fortifications, weaken their tower with boulders, and capture the opposing tower. The robot scored points by breaching their opponents’ defenses and throwing boulders at the opposing tower. In the last 20 seconds, robots can surround and scale the opposing tower to capture it.

2017: Steamworks

SCARLETT (Shooting, Climbing, Awesome, Robot, Legitimately, Engineered, To, Transcendence) 

Teams are required to shoot wiffleballs, which represent fuel into a simulated boiler which transfers the steam into an airship that’s located in the middle of the field. Each alliance has one airship, which they pressurize with steam from the boiler and load with plastic gears from the field. In the last 30 seconds of the game, robots can climb and hang on team-supplied ropes attached to the airship for additional points.

2018: Power Up

ADAM RICHARD SANDLER

Robots collect Power Cubes and place them on plates to control Switches or the Scale. Alliances work together to have ownership over them for as long as possible. Robots deliver Power Cubes to teammates who place them into the Vault, earning the Alliance Power Ups. Alliances use Power Ups (Force, Boost, and Levitate) to gain a temporary advantage during the Match. Robots Climb the Scale in order to be ready to Face The Boss.
